FOREST MENGGANAS LAGI?

TENOM: Penduduk kampong Sinawangan/Katubu dalam Mukim Rundum meminta campur tangan Ketua Menteri Sabah Datuk Seri Musa Aman untuk mencari penyelesaian terhadap tindakan drastik Jabatan Perhutanan yang merobohkan empat buah rumah diperkampongan itu tanpa amaran atau notis dikeluarkan sebelum tindakan perobohan dimulakan.

Jurucakap bagi pihak penduduk disitu Palipus Ampasu 45,(gambar) ketika memberitahu Harian Ekspress pada Isnin bahawa beliau kesal dengan tindakan tersebut yang disifatkan nya sebagai keterlaluan dan tidak berperi kemanusiaan langsung.

Beliau berkata demikian sebagai mengulas tindakan sekumpulan kakitangan Jabatan Perhutanan yang merobohkan 4 buah rumah penduduk perkampongan disitu pada Januari 13, 2011 jam 1 petang yang mendakwa kononnya rumah rumah tersebut telah berada dikawasan hutan simpan Rundum.

Ekoran insiden tersebut satu laporan Polis telah dibuat beliau pada Isnin yang ditemani beberapa penduduk disitu termasuk Haji Sabli Ambarok. Pihak Balai Polis disini ketika dihubungi mengesahkan ada menerima laporan tersebut.

Palipus yang juga Timbalan Ketua Cawangan UMNO Kg Katubu kelihatan agak beremosi ketika itu seterusnya berkata, “ Kami sudah tinggal disitu lebih 30 tahun lalu…mempunyai tanaman getah yang sudah mengeluarkan hasil tetapi kenapa baru sekarang kami diusir dan rumah rumah kami diroboh…nasib baik tidak dibakar,” tegasnya.

“ Ini kawasan perkampongan nenek moyang kami sejak beratus tahun dahulu lagi malangnya baru sekarang baru timbul kawasan hutan simpan yang kami tidak tahu keujudannya..kalau dakwaan mereka benar mana sempadannya?” tambahnya lagi.

Dalam pada itu, beliau turut memaklumkan masalah tersebut kepada Pegawai Daerah disini kesemua insiden dan perilaku kakitangan Jabatan Perhutanan yang didalangi kira kira 20 kakitangan yang dipercayai daripada Sandakan.

PAS UMUM EXCO MUSLIMAT PUSAT CALON PRK DUN TENANG

KUALA LUMPUR, 16 Jan — Exco Dewan Muslimat PAS pusat Normala Sudirman dipilih untuk mewakili Pakatan Rakyat bertanding pada pilihan raya kecil kerusi Dewan Undangan Negeri (DUN) Tenang.

Pemilihan Normala, 38, seorang guru sekolah menengah diumumkan oleh Presiden PAS Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang di Labis malam ini.

Ini kali pertama PAS menurunkan seorang wanita bertanding dalam pilihan raya kecil sejak Mac 2008.

Pilihan raya kecil kerusi DUN Tenang adalah yang ke-14 selepas pilihan raya umum ke-12.

Sebelum ini kedengaran Barisan Nasional juga akan menurunkan calon wanita.

Ketua Dewan Muslimat kawasan Labis juga merupakan muka baru dalam pilihan raya.

Beliau dipilih daripada kalangan lima nama yang disenaraipendekkan oleh jawatankuasa kerja PAS pusat awal minggu lalu.

Pilihan raya kecil diadakan bagi mengisi kekosongan berikutan kematian penyandangnya, Datuk Sulaiman Taha, 59, pada 17 Disember tahun lalu.

Kawasan DUN Tenang merupakah salah satu kubu kuat Umno di Johor.

Dalam pilihan raya umum 2008, Sulaiman mengalahkan lawannya, Mohd Saim Siran dari PAS, dengan kelebihan 2,492 undi.

Penamaan calon bagi pilihan raya kecil DUN itu ditetapkan pada 22 Januari ini dan hari pengundian pada 30 Januari.

Barisan Nasional akan mengumumkan calonnya Rabu ini.

Normala yang mempunyai tiga orang anak difahamkan telah meletakkan jawatan sebagai guru minggu lalu. Suaminya juga seorang guru.

Beliau juga merupakan pengerusi lajnah pendidikan Dewan Muslimat PAS pusat.

Turut hadir pada majlis pengumuman calon ialah Presiden PKR Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail dan Penasihat DAP Kebangsaan Lim Kit Siang.

Naib Presiden PAS Salahuddin Ayub ketika ditanya mengenai keputusan memilih wanita sebagai calon kali ini berkata, PAS mahu menganjak senario politik Johor yang lebih ceria dan progresif.

Objectives: To ensure that the Malaysia Agreement including the 20 points conditions, assurances and the undertakings by Tunku Abdul Rahman and those contained in the Inter-Governmental Committee (IGC) Report as well as the Cobbold Commission are respected and implemented as per Article VIII of the Malaysian Agreement 1963.

UBF’s Core Demands 1. That the Federal government establishes a “Compliance Mechanism” vide a Ministry or an enacted body to implement our core objective and core demands stated herein and comply with Article VIII of the Malaysia Agreement; 2. Demand for a fairer and more equitable revenue sharing formulae including a review of the percentage of oil net revenue as well as a fair and equitable representation and role in parliament/ Federal Cabinet/ Judiciary and the civil and diplomatic service; 3. Restore the equal partnership status of Sabah and Sarawak to Malaya in the Federation; 4. Demand for the abolishment of Cabotage/ Transport/ Trade Policies that negatively affects the Borneo States; 5. Demand for the respect and implementation of Native rights/ NCR and Article 153 of the Federal Constitution; 6. Demand for a shift in the economic development focus to Sabah and Sarawak including the narrowing of the Economic and Digital Divides between Malaya and the Borneo States of Sabah and Sarawak; and 7. Resolve the illegal immigrants (PTI)/ “Project IC” problems and the threat to the territorial integrity of Sabah and Sarawak including the passing of the heaviest deterrent sentence on crimes related to the issuance of citizenship to illegal immigrants. Role & Function: Empowering the people by educating them about their political economic history; their rights and responsibilities, and to inculcate the spirit of our struggle for justice.
